I had a specific industrial ambient vibe I had in mind for this week's track, but couldn't really figure out how to make the sounds I wanted. Then I got bored of this track so I stopped working on it. But it still counts towards the WB streak, so here it is :) 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial (BY-NC)

A busy week of travel and weekend of events at home left me with a bit of time to get this piece done: one session Saturday afternoon and one Saturday night. The result has a lot in common with what I've been doing, and maybe a reliance on reflex. There's the pause-for-breath-at-the-end-of-a-bar pattern I tend toward, arpeggiations, fingerpicking, sliding chords around. It sounded all ri...

The was created entirely with the FM synth in the Dirtywave M8 (except for my voice, for that i used that TE Ting thing with a custom program). Reminds me of stuff I used to make back in school tracking layers of TX81Z into. Also, still working on having great production value and clear mixes without losing my edge. Chorus vocal left intentionally cringe. lol, I thought it fit with the energy of w...

i used 0 synths, this song is purely made out of my voice and beatboxing i recorded haha (just heavily edited) my discord username is marteksis 2026 CC Attribution Share Alike (BY-SA)

still getting over illness and feeling very uninspired this week. the lyrics to this song are just a collection of quotes by joshi and hardcore wrestling legend maki itoh. › lyrics‹ lyrics "i like detroit. yeah, i like danger mood." - maki on what cities in america she enjoys "my goal?  my goal is i want to be rich. more rich." - maki on goals "i think i g...

Aptly named because that's when I finally got around to making it. 😓 Whoops. Happy Week 39 everybody! Third quarter finished, one more to go! 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

really was dialing in some justice drums then sort of went into both glitchy stuff, some alrighty funky-ish bass, and some industrial arps. it sorta starts and restarts and probably didn't pay enough attention to levels, but ah well. fun stuff. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

Didnt feel super motivated to work on this this week but was feeling dreamy so made a sortof dreamy liquid track :) Maybe speed treasure. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

Managed to get a fairly good start to build on early on which is nice when I start on Sunday. Not the most involved sound design, most of this could have been done using OPL1 but a few using some of the additional OPL2 features. One of my typical 'house' styles if you will, but I think it came together fairly well all things considered for a few hours work. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommerc...

"The Rapids" because I couldn't think of a cleverer title for this piece of speedtrash and it kind of does sound like what it must feel like to try and keep a boat upright while everything is going fast. So, have a more uptempo than usual modular jam this week. Sadly I ran out of time for more than just some layer buildup and filter cutoff noodling over a few loops, but hey. Bring o...

I won't not really call it speed trash as this took way to long to write for what it is but never the less.. This was a test to wrap my head around the Polyend Synth and Play+ together. The Synth will take some time to really get used to, quirky is a good way to describe it. The Polyends were sent to the K.O. Sidekick mixer and recorded live into Ableton, for better or worse no Ableton magic...

I was away for most of the weekend, and rushed this one through. Managed to come up with a 2min track, but it was a bit all over the place. Since I got home earlier than I expected on Sunday, I spent some time trying to clean it up. I originally uploaded something with a sample that said "wanted" a bunch, but swapped that out with something that fit better. Also dropped some weird synths...

Sorry for the short post here, but this song is being submitted to WB as well as the 59th M8 Community Jam (Mutating Micro Trains). When noodling on the piano, I came across these pretty sounding chords and decided they'd be the basis of the song. Since I wanted to have it be kind of train-related, I added that closed-cymbal percussive element using a 1-2-3 pattern that really sounds like a t...

Time and energy were at an absolute minimum this week, so kept it real simple and put together this super pulled back ambient little sketch. It goes nowhere. It says nothing. But it is, and it's all I had time for this week :) Be well, pals 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

This one came together pretty late. There was no real plan, or concept, or even a chord progression until very late in the week. It's basically held together with glue and some hope, but damn if it isn't some of the best glue. Leega made the progression and it's kinda all over the place (but primarily are about the whole step up motion), but the melodies that follow feel very nice a...

The M8 ingredients used- 2 hyppersynths 2 macrosynths 1 field recording of my back yard. May all your oscillators blaze for eternity. 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

This track is very random. I wanted to try some more M8 sound design and decided to work exclusively on the iOS app. - I tried to make strings and it seemed promising at first but I ended up either making it worse or I misremember how promising they seemed at the start. Yowza. - I also wanted to make a vocal pad but it turned out way too much for my patience on the M8. Need to get better at workin...

played our first forestlike show last week, which was the first show i've played in like... 3 years. it. was. wonderful. our 2nd album will be out in october and i am very excited. if you'd like to be notified about the release and/or keep up outside of WB, please consider clicking "follow" on our bandcamp. there is also an IG account if that is something you enjoy. also patsy...

Hi gang! We are back with some housey vibes. The last weeks were super tough motivation wise. Lets push through the last quarter of the year! :) cheers 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial Share Alike (BY-NC-SA)

More traveling, more sampling, more collaborating : ) Tried to mess with the limiter and OTT on the M8, still have more to learn on that front for sure. Had a harder time taming the mix for this one but overall it was a fun process working out the structure and slicing up different parts for it › Getaway‹ GetawayDriving upstate just to get down Running away just to feel how you can&#03...

So the gig happened last Tuesday, here is a quick mix edit of one of the parts! Pretty lose playing here too but, eh, no false notes? 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial (BY-NC)

This one is a bit on the simpler side; I didn't do much prep and I didn't have much inspiration and I didn't want to fight with my ideas. Even still, I went through several iterations of The Idea before I sliced off enough of the things that didn't work to get a core part. A bit of guitar, some more Digitakt drums through the Bad Mood again (but simpler this time, less chaotic)...

Currently on my last day of a short vacation, I left all musicmaking equipment at home and the computer I started this project has more plugins than the one I currently have, so this sloppy early mix should do. Checking this one on earbuds while converting it to MP3 in the last second. The arrangement was kind of unfinished but... I'm happy I had some vacations, finally. Lots of love to all o...
