Hey Weeklybeaters, this is an old guitar part from my very first album Romantic, but with new lyrics - which is why I am posting it here, as it's kind of a new song now. I call it Entangled and Free and I think I'll eventually merge it with the lyrics from Embraced and Free to make a single longer song since they sort of match. I actually had half of this song for like 4 years but didn&#...

Another week, another jam. This time on the OP-1. 2026 CC Attribution Share Alike (BY-SA)

More or less the same drill as last week: I wasn't very motivated to get started with something. Then we also had some personal news that was a real setback (to say the least). Yet, I soldiered on. Of course, making music is also a good distraction. I got started with a progression on Friday night. I had the majority of the track on Saturday evening and then I added the final bits and pieces...

HELLO GUYS AND GALS AND EVERYONE IN BETWEEN !! Fun week for me ! Yeaaah for the first time in weeks I started early in the week and had fun making and learning for this track ! I wanted to look a bit in the "WB Sample Challenge" pack to celebrate it a bit and I stumbled upon Huabun's Mouth Trumpet sample that looked at me straight in the...ears (?) made me seat in a room and waited...

Hey everyone, another rather unspectacular experiment where i tried to use my minilogue xd inside fl studio as external midi instrument, controlling most parameters via midi cc. Since im slowly connecting all my gear to form one big always plugged in studio environment this was quite the step in the right direction. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

The family grows. Not the real one, like I don't have a baby, but I just got a new guitar and a practice snare drum. My initial idea was to *wait* until WB ends and learn drums and guitar (and get back on the bass). But I am in a very musical phase these days so I'm skipping steps. Plus a friend wants to play with me so that put me in the mood. That's 4 musical projects at the same...

Not me playing the erhu or any of the strings, but I did manage to get some practice time in. I started this with piano and it just didn't work, so I leaned into strings even more and there are quite a few things I really like. I also prefer playing stings in real life too, so that makes sense.  Also finally a week that i got to mess around a bit more with music. I even practiced violin...

A weird little jam using twisted excerpts from previous pieces, loaded up onto my Digitakt II and turned into standalone instruments. Nothing crazy to say here, didn't try too too hard to make it make harmonic sense, just vibed it out. Bit of a last minute piece, but you could do worse! 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

Simple bit of texture with VCVRack this week as I have done something to my ear and it's all blocked up, can't hear a damn thing. Oh well. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

A quick track for this week, as I didn't have much time. Time Signature: 4/4 Tempo: 168 Key Signature: D Major/B Minor Made using 1x LSDJ. Exported using GB-Presenter 2026 CC Attribution Share Alike (BY-SA)

Often, large things last. After all, it takes time to grow. But even if they do, they eventually fall. In memory of whatever large things matter to you. Featuring bass clarinet. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

Week without much time for music, put something together with minimalistic instruments, this time told myself to do only 1 take per track and not slice and move things around (including MIDI). It’s fine I believe for something put together on an afternoon. I’ll come back next time with something denser :) 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

I bought card sleeves for a new commander deck and they are called "Ember". That's the whole story of how this week's song came to life. Got inspired, still trying to figure out to be myself and feel cozy. The song is funny too I think :) Lyrics Vom Großsein träum ich Schon seit ich zu groß bin fürs Kleinsein Mit Trompeten im Ohr Stell ich mir vor, ich bin frei Ich mach das, wa...

A speedtrash done on Sunday night - I went for the usual tricks to get something that sounds like a track. Oh well, track is a track. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

One of my fastest compositions by a long shot - and also longest track I've ever done. Generative, kinda deep psybient stuff. 92 bpm. Friend of mine, who's into hard techno, gave an idea of having some 184bpm hardcore kicks here and there too - soI added that on Friday. But as said, started on Monday, finished the whole arrangement in less than three hours. After that it was all mixing a...
