Here is the 3rd part of a new series where I try to make a more sample-based ambient music, using especially samples from the Polyend Palettes (the ones they give for free now and then). It's definitely a new challenge for me, which I alleviate by still using making some synth patches here and there to help. I've been busy with work for the past 6 weeks and it's not looking like it&...

Spent a week visiting my folks at home which means me and Neon Liminal could jam! Neon whipped up some sick beats and synth lines and I riffed over top and then he worked his magic. He did so much work on this, it's wild and I am always in awe of my older brothers accumulated skill. 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

A quick warts and all stoner track, Way Huge Havalina Fuzz Pedal with a Geisha drive pushing it a little harder into the Orange Rockoverb. Oh, and a Hendrix Crybaby for the 2nd lead, been too lazy to wah lately, but needed that this week. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial (BY-NC)

This started as a drum mixing exercise as I was relying too much on Damage's ~signature processing~ :D So I yeeted that and tried to manage multi-outs. Outside of the initial part building on the tonic most of the melodic stuff is just changing chord voicings; the dissonant doubling synth lead near the end was a late addition, it clashes with the chords but I really enjoyed how it plays with...

I have been coding up a new firmware for the FM-1 called FMER and this week was my first time using it to write a full track. this was recorded as a live session off the unit. Forgive the less than stelar production on it. The track is pretty much raw off the unit with live improv. Did a bit of adjusting to try and remove some static from my janky recording but this served its purpose as a workflo...

This is it! I released my latest M4L instrument: SboomTchac! So this week track is what I succeeded to save from the session I used to make the trailer with. Everything is made with SboomTchac and that's it. I tried to demonstrate some possibilities, even if it's pretty straightforward as I lacked time. Have a nice week! 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

Yes, more ambient. I have another tune that started 2 weeks ago but still wasnt able to get into the right mindset to keep working on it, and I went down the rabbit hole of some pads design, so after making a couple I used them to make this chill tune, I think the drums comes from a stock m8 sample, it felt pretty good so I went with it. I also recorded some water flowing from the kitchen, it give...

This song was a long time coming and im glad to finally get it out of my system. If you couldn't tell it's a break up song, but yeah, wrote this in one sitting it deserves more work so there will probably be a part 2 sometime in the future 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

The idea was to make some melodic techno. I started with the drums and already diverged from the genre :) so this has some trancy influences as well. Not enough time for more sparkles, so here we go. Let me know, what you think. And have a great week everyone. 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

I didn't do as many tracks this week as there are weekdays, but I did do some, and among them was this track I returned to work on twice that I started on the digitone ii. I think a proper release of it would involve the whole multitrack out situation in ableton to tame or compress etc the different tracks, but as is I like it. 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

Been working on my fingerpicking and had some ideas as to how to record acoustic guitar better and reduce room noise. I think I've made some improvements. Wanted to add vocals but wasn't feeling it / didn't have anything ready in time. Enjoy! 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

Another crazy week - but still going! This song was written in about 20 minutes, over a lunch break at work - super cheesy - 90s - emotional pop rock acoustic vibes - think goo goo dolls meets the calling - I actually kinda like the cringe though! super simple recording - Single vocal, acoustic guitar, bass and a single lead part during the 'bridge'  - I did intend to record a solo...

When for something deep sounding this week that brightens up to practice with a new string library I picked up. Strings come in towards the end and damn to I love this library and the plugin they came packed in. High grade sound quality and very easy to create something with. Early on leading in is the Iridium combined with some vocals. Then follows some synth sounds from the M8x. It's funny,...

I've been working 60 hr weeks the last 3 weeks between home and SFO, resurrecting a few projects from ages ago to finish them up and get something together.  End is in sight, in NYC this week wrapping up some tech launch nonsense all while getting business taxes filed, then I'm going to take some much needed rest and get the family out on holiday for a week or two.  Miss the fa...
