Tutor Reviews

Clearly I'm a glutton for punishment... Why else would I entertain a tv series remake of one of the greatest films ever made? Because I like to be proven wrong if the tables turn, or I like to vent to y'all about how terrible things turn out. Either way, this series truly is "not gonna be ignored", so here we go. Enjoy, folks.

The Meg was actually a very pleasant surprise for me when I saw it for the first time... I was hesitant about a PG-13 Megaladon flick, but it was definitely entertaining as hell. But when you throw in super scuba suits in the depths of the ocean, multiple Megaladons, and more creatures for them to cause havoc with??? Yes, I am here for all of it. Bring on the insanity. Enjoy, y'all.

I had seen some scattered reviews and reactions to this show online, but never paid it much attention... Then I got the extra push to finally check it out. I have lots of questions I'm left with, BUT I won't act like this didn't catch me off guard. Harold Perrineau playing the sheriff of this creepy and suspicious town sells me already, but the things that are happening here amongst these townspeo...

The saw still seems to be family here, and it's time for a bit of a reunion that's both inevitable and long overdue... While this series is all over the place, this is a place that feels like home even among the most sadistic of families and slasher icons overall. Please put some speck on this remake. Enjoy, y'all.

The designs of the Beasts alone are a huge selling point here... But seeing these big mf'ers in action is just bonkers. This is the most excited I've been for Transformers since the first movie I think, and God bless Steven Caple Jr. for stepping behind the wheel of this and hopefully adding fuel back into a somewhat dysfunctional franchise. I haven't lost faith. Enjoy, y'all.

I guess since John Wick got his fourth go round on screen recently, it was only a matter of time until Robert McCall came back to join the party... As if Book Of Eli wasn't already an established bad ass of a character to his name, Denzel Washington decided to close this thing out with a bang, maybe a blast, possibly a few blades, etc. We know what to expect. Enjoy, folks.

First we got the House Party reboot from this director, and now he's back with yet another 90s classic that he's putting a modern day spin on... I'm not saying I'm looking forward to this but as a basketball buff, y'all know what I'm here for. And I will say that I think Jack Harlow will be a comedic standout here. That is all. Enjoy, people.

Now is the time where I make up for not doing that first trailer reaction the way I was supposed to... And I don't have to turn back time to do so. Enjoy, y'all.

So we've basically got a modern take on Frankenstein/Frankenstein's Monster... Only it's a black girl as the lead, she's bringing her brother back from the dead, and it's set in the projects. Sign me up. This can be interesting enough to fall perfectly in line with the rest of the modern black horror projects that are killing it right now. I hope this is as weird as it looks. Enjoy, folks.

Y'all know exactly what's about to happen and where I'm going with this here... Y'all know. And some of you get a kick out of this bs, but I'm here for what y'all want to tune into. Putting my sanity at stake per usual. Enjoy, people.

No long caption needed... Enjoy, folks.

So this is what happens when I try to do two things at once here... This is the result of me trying to watch the so-called sappy movies my Lady wants me to watch, and also the result of me trying to be versatile with my content overall. I've been telling myself I need to do more movies that gear towards my female listeners, so this seems like a win/win. While it's my second viewing and while time...

I need all my listeners to do me a solid right now... Don't judge me due to how I reacted here. I tried, I did. But this reaction tails off into the deep end the more it progresses. I promise I tried. Enjoy, folks.

We've seen this type of premise done many times before, but maybe J.Lo can be the one to break a new barrier and give us something different... Right? I'm just saying that I don't know too many folks who will take this seriously enough to get excited. But I'll stay optimistic. Enjoy, people.

I always say that when Hollywood can't seem to get the job done, in come the true fans who spend their own money to make things happen... 2010 was the last time Elm Street fans were blessed, or lack thereof, with a new take on the property and it wasn't pretty. But here we are in 2023 with a fan film centering on Dylan from New Nightmare, and I'm happy nonetheless. As long as it's not Nancy again...

To get straight to the point, I wasn't a fan of the first Captain Marvel movie... And being as though I already wasn't familiar with the character, the movie being bland as hell didn't help much. But here we have Brie Larson back, and she's got some help along the way. She's also got director Nia DaCosta at the helm of this. With how female driven this sequel is overall, I'm definitely rooting for...

I did this one pretty late last night... Which in turn means that I stayed up even later, which ties into the fact that I'm up early for the upload itself. But as usual, I hope y'all enjoy me making the most out of another killer doll going on a rampage that could've been prevented. But some of these folks had it coming. Enjoy, people.

These descriptions seem to get smaller and smaller each time... Rightfully so, because this has all become so self explanatory. For a Philly native, I'm at home with this series. Enjoy, people.

Going into this completely blind, the two things I was ready to do were root for Xolo Mariduena from Cobra Kai, and to have the closest thing to a modernized Guyver reboot I can get... But in all seriousness, I've been wondering what this was going to look like very early on for DC. I haven't lost hope for them completely, but we need a good sucker punch of a fun superhero flick and fingers crosse...

Much like I tried to keep the intro, this will be short here... We know this show has been an entire home run at this point. Enjoy, folks.

Back to the Banks family we go!... I'll keep this brief but I've got to say that something happens in this episode that was more than satisfying to watch, and from a character I least expected to deliver the moment. But that's the joy of this series, always taking me by storm and getting all the feels out of me. It doesn't let up. Enjoy, folks.

I know I should've started this from the very beginning, but I explain why during the intro... Luckily I'm not famous enough to have a cult or hive of people who misunderstand that and take drastic measures like our leading lady in this show here. This is one of the most insane depictions of #1 fandom I've seen in a long time. It's been done a LOT, but not every interpretation has had Donald Glove...

It's a bad day and night to be a virgin in the town of Cherry Falls, especially when a crazed serial killer is on the loose with a specific motive... This is a movie that's rare, hilarious, underrated, and a few other choice words I'm sure I try to give it credit for while sipping during the episode, so bare with me. While this premise is pretty original in my opinion, this is a film that will alw...

This has been a must watch for years now and being as though years have finally passed, I decided that it's time I must watch... Don't judge me. Low key, I'm a sucker for werewolves on screen, and a lot of it has to do with the transformations that practical effects give me. So when you throw Joe Dante behind the camera and Dee Wallace in front of all that, you have me sold. Enjoy, y'all.

I'm a bit behind, but sometimes Bel-Air just can't wait... It's always good to get back to the heart and the dramatics of this show, and it only gets better. Enjoy, folks.
