Trinity Lutheran Brillion

This episode covers the third commandment. In this episode we talk about God's gift of rest and how we find spiritual rest in God's word. These are important truths for Americans to ponder. Considering they work very long hours.

This episode continues our journey through the Catechism. Today we discus the second commandment which states, "You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God." In this episode we define what God's name is, as well as defining appropriate and inappropriate uses for that name.

This episode is the beginning of a series of episodes on the commandments. The first commandment states, "You shall have no other God." Although that may sound simple the truth about God and our relationship to him is profound. Listen to the episode to dive deep into our relationship with our creator God.

This episode really is a summary of the entire redemption story. When we approach the Ten Commandments from the perspective of a redeemed child of God we are able to view them as a guide we can use to lead a life of thanksgiving to God.

This episode explores in general what we mean when we talk about God's Law. In this podcast we will talk about the three types of laws as well as the three uses of God's law.

We will be using Luther's Catechism published by Northwestern Publishing House 2017 as our content guide. The first episode discusses what we believe the Bible says about itself. This lesson creates an important foundation because we ultimately get all our content from the Bible.
