The "Rugrats" have always clicked with the elves in the past when they covered their Hanukkah and Mother's Day specials, but will they enjoy their foray into the most wonderful time of year j...

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics! And Happy August! We're in the final four weeks of the year before we hit the 'Ber Months! How exciting is that?!  Due to vacation and work schedules, the elves are taking a much needed week off. Never fear though! Anthony is back once more with a special "Summerween" treat that he recorded a few weeks back in anticipation for this moment! Yet again, he is joined...

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics! Can you believe we've already reached our final episode of July 2024? We sure can't! The 'Ber Months are fast approaching! This week, Anthony, Julia, and Thom travel to the snowy, dangerous world of Gotham City to cover the 2023 original animated film, "Merry Little Batman"! Skewed for a younger audience than the Caped Crusader is normally aimed at, did our hosts...

Happy Christmas in July, Christmas Fanatics! As of today, we are *officially* a mere *five months* from Christmas day! How exciting is that?!   As a special gift for you to mark the occasion, please enjoy this special bonus episode - now live in your podcast feeds - in which Julia, Thom, and Anthony gather to discuss some of their favorite "Saturday Night Live" Christmas skits! Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics! We hope you're all having a wonderful July as we barrel ever closer to our beloved 'Ber Months!  To kick off the week, Julia, Thom, and Anthony journey back to Sesame Street - despite the fact that nobody seemed to be able to tell us how to get there! - to cover the 1996 film, "Sesame Street: Elmo Saves Christmas"! Elmo isn't any of our hosts favorite resident of...

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics!  We hope you had a great weekend - or a great long weekend, in the case of our American listeners!  We are back with another installment of "Tis the Podcast", and this week, we are covering John Woo's 2023, action-holiday film, "Silent Night"! Is this a Christmas movie or merely a film set at Christmas? Does its lack of dialogue enhance the story or seem like a ch...

Happy Thursday, Christmas Fanatics! And Happy Fourth of July to all of our American listeners!   Since we didn't get a chance to record a bonus Independence Day episode this year, we're releasing another episode that was originally intended to drop on Patreon instead! (Hence the explicit tag for language!) Think of it as a second "Summerween" treat, for Anthony is once again joined by his friend,...

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics! And Happy First Day of July! We're barreling ever-closer to those 'Ber Months with more than a few big milestones along the way to be hit this month! How exciting is that? Less exciting is the film the elves are covering this week: the 2023 Netflix Original Movie, "Family Switch"! While they thought they escaped the worst-of-the-worst content after clawing their w...

Happy Sunday, Christmas Fanatics! And Happy Last Day of June!    Since we didn't get a chance to record a bonus Fourth of July episode this year, we're releasing an episode that was originally intended to drop on Patreon instead! (Hence the explicit tag for language!) Think of it as a special "Summerween" treat, as it's an episode that covers a movie that takes place in July, but it's a horror fil...

Happy Leon Day! That's right! We are *officially* halfway to Christmas 2024! Can you believe it? The elves (barely) survived the cringe-worthy "Jingle all the Way 2", the disastrous "National Lampoon's Christmas...

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics! We hope all the dads out there had a wonderful Father's Day yesterday! Long before MAX released "A Christmas Story Christmas" back in 2012, there was a direct-to-Home Video sequel to that iconic holiday classic simply called, "A Christmas Story 2"! Naturally, the elves had to cover it as part of "Bad Sequel Month", but is this one *really* as bad as you'd think? T...

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics! Our journey through "Bad Straight-to-Home-Video Christmas Sequels" continues this week with "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure"! We can't even pretend otherwise - this movie is trash and may very well be the worst thing we've covered in over half-a-decade on the show. It was painful to get through. That said, as is often the...

Welcome back, Christmas lovers, to another episode of "Tis the Podcast"! This week, the elves procrastinate talking about the movie they're supposed to be discussing for about as long as they can, choosing instead to discuss movies they've recently seen, summer, tattoos, and just about anything and everything else. After a long intro and benig unable to put it off any longer, they dive into the wo...

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics! And Happy Memorial Day! We hope you're all enjoying your long weekend! As today is the last Monday of May - if you can believe that! - today we bring to its conclusion Christmas-Horror month! So gather 'round to listen to the elves discuss the 2023 film, "A Creature Was Stirring". There's no sugarcoating this one. This film was bad, but it made for a heck of a fun...

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics!   This week, Kendall Farrae of "Two Girls, One Crypt" joins us for our latest installment of "Christmas Horror Month"! Discussed this week? The 2023 slasher-comedy, "It's a Wonderful Knife"! While the elves loved "There's Something in the Barn" and found "The Mean One" so bad it's good, is there anything redeemable about this week's film or is it a giant dud? Well...

Happy Monday to all! We trust that all the wonderful mothers out there had a splendid Mother's Day celebration! Now that it's passed, however, we are one holiday closer to Christmas!
