Send us Fan Mail In this message we start exploring a new series called Life. In our first message we look at micro vs macro relationships. Which is more important, where should we focus?  If we want to be healthy and growing as a church where should we spend more resources? If we want to be healthy and growing as individuals which one is more important? What are the differences between micro and...

Send us Fan Mail In this message we look at Paul's first trip to the city of Corinth. We seek to answer the big question, "Are we afraid, or do we believe Jesus is done saving?"  Paul spent 1 year and a half in Corinth preaching, and teaching to one of the most wicked cities he went to. Yet, many believed, many came to know Jesus. Why do we think our cities are too far gone? What ke...

Send us Fan Mail What does Paul's encounter with the Athenians teach about us about interacting with the culture of today? That we should!! Paul enters Athens, which is a very secular city, and debates the professional thinkers about life, God, and reality. This is an area the church really needs to get better at, stop telling people their wildest dreams can come true, and start actually ente...

Send us Fan Mail Ever feel frustrated? Do you feel like no matter what things will never get better? No matter how hard you push, no matter how hard you try it just feels like hitting wall after wall? Do you ever want to give up? We should never think this way.  Yes life sometimes is more than we can bear, sometimes we do get a mountain we can't climb, but that there is always hope in Jesus!...

Send us Fan Mail Is the church's role to cause division or unity? How do we balance Jesus saying He didn't come for peace but to divide, with God so loved the world? How are we to reach a world, if we are constantly removing ourselves from the world? How can we be in the world, and not be of the world? What should the mission of the church be? https://www.facebook.com/MissionSentDeltona...

It seems like everyday there is another breakdown, another shooting, another hurt, another.....It feels like hope is fleeting, but is it? Is there anything we can do to hold onto hope? To be encouraged? Is the worse yet to come, or is t...

Send us Fan Mail Apologetics gets such a bad rap in the Christian world. Why is that? How do you know you're saved, or that Jesus is the Son of God? How do you answer people when they differ in beliefs from you? How do you know anything is real? Apologetics is simply having a defense for the hope found in you, and it is something more of us should be engaging in. If we look at the world, we c...

Send us Fan Mail In this service Mission Sent talks about what we have done in the past, and what we plan to do in the future. We are called by Jesus to be lights in the world, and in order to do that we must go into the world. This is how we plan to reach further into our community and love others, the way we love us. https://www.facebook.com/MissionSentDeltona https://www.missionsent.org/resourc...

Send us Fan Mail As we have moved through history there have been may times forces have tried to kill the church. Going all the way back to satan killing Jesus, the church has been fighting a war. Find out as w...

Send us Fan Mail In this message we look at the escape of Peter in Acts 12. Peter is chained with two guards, in prison, and the future is bleak. As he is waiting for his death to be carried out, the miraculous happens. Miracles exist, as long as we are doing in faith. Through prayer and faith, Peter miraculously escapes certain death. What does this mean for us, what does faith mean, how do we ex...

Send us Fan Mail In this message we look at Acts 12 and the power of prayer. We focus on if prayer is our first response, or last resort. Do we immediately pray, or is it something we wait to do. Why do we pray, how should we pray, and are prayers answered. https://www.facebook.com/MissionSentDeltona https://www.missionsent.org/resources

Send us Fan Mail In this message we look at Acts 11 and try to answer what is the mission of the church? Why do we do what we do, and what else should we be doing?  The church at Antioch became known as the sending church, and most christian churches today can trace their lineage back to this single church. Just the fact we call ourselves christians was coined from here. So how do we love one anot...

Send us Fan Mail Is it more important to win the argument or the person? Disagreements will come up, we will not always see everything eye to eye, how do we handle that? How do we deal with people who are different than us, who believe differently? How does the gospel spill into how we love one another? How did Jesus handle things he wanted to correct? Conflict resolution can be difficult, but we...

Send us Fan Mail In this message we look to finish out Acts 10. We look at the interaction between Peter and Cornelius. How Peter opens his mouth and preaches the gospel. We look at how we are only tasked with preaching the gospel, and it is the Spirit who does the saving work. However, our goal should be to seek and save what is lost, and to do this, we have to preach the gospel. The big question...

Send us Fan Mail In this message we look at the response Peter had to the vision Jesus gave him. How Peter left without hesitation to go meet with the men Cornelius sent.  How Peter "sought" to show hospitality and what this means for us as followers of Christ. We look at how to share the gospel, and stop making excuses for not being on mission.  How do we reach our friends, family, cowo...

Send us Fan Mail Does prayer still work? What is the point of praying? How does your prayer life look? Have you ever seen an answered prayer, how would this world look if all your prayers were answered? These are questions we look to answer as we look at Acts:10:1-16. Peter and Cornelius both have an amazing meeting with Jesus, and it came from them both diligently seeking Christ. So should we pra...

Send us Fan Mail Do miracles still happen today?  Did miracles stop happening with the apostles?  If miracles still happen today, why aren't they happening like what we see in scripture?  These are the questions we look to answer as we look through the rest of Acts 9. As Peter heals a paralytic, and raises Dorcas from the dead, we have to ask why the church has stopped believing in the miracu...

Send us Fan Mail In this message we continue to look at Saul and his conversion. Now that Saul had met Jesus and spent some time in Damascus he is staring to preach the gospel boldly. Now did Paul encounter people who didn't trust him, who thought he wasn't truly saved? Absolutely, but we should continue to preach the gospel regardless of what is being said about us, because if we are fo...

Send us Fan Mail In this message we look at Acts 9 and the conversion of Saul. When we met Jesus, the real Jesus, we are never the same. Some are hardened and some are softened, but all are changed. What is salvation and how does being "saved" change us? For those of us that have met Jesus, how are we changed, and what do we do with the change? We are called to a mission, and it is a big...

Send us Fan Mail In this message we look at the conversion of Saul found in Acts 9:1-19. What was it about Saul that made Jesus go get him, and then ultimately save him? What is it about us that Jesus loves so much? Why would Jesus save any of us? https://www.facebook.com/MissionSentDeltona https://www.missionsent.org/resources

Send us Fan Mail In this message we look at Acts 8 and Philip meeting the Eunuch. We think things happen by coincidence, however God has planned all things to bring Himself glory! Why preach the gospel if it is only by chance people come to believe. Want to impact your city, preach the gospel.  Be obedient to the life we are called to live, and watch how Jesus transforms lives! Take a listen, give...

Send us Fan Mail In this video we look at Simon the magician found in Acts 8. Simon shows us what flashy, surface level faith looks like. As followers of Jesus we are called to a deeper understanding of who Jesus is, and what He came to do. We are not called to the flashy, self centered gospel of prosperity. https://www.facebook.com/MissionSentDeltona https://www.missionsent.org/resources
