Live At Five

Glenn gave his definition to the word narcissism, and how narcissistic people treat others. Then it was a tribute to little known 70s movies, including Day of the Dolphin. From their, a guy called in asking why pubic bathrooms are closed, then it was topped off by SG's call. SG saw ZZ Top just like Glenn did. Both had their version to how the concert went. Good stuff.

It's Friday so let's walk things back a bit from politics. Wait! We had a rally up here and Lee Zeldin was in town! Glenn went and then was asked if Congresswoman Tenney could use our building for a live Fox Business interview. So, busy day, but the show included a coughing Glenn, SG and other great callers too!

Politics again? Double standard? Biden has cancer? Where does it get us? So Glenn tried to walk away from the usual but went right back to why Chappel's comedy show was cancelled and a discussion with SG about why Biden got to be president to begin with. Oh, a good conversation with the East Side guy about how social media made going to a wake much easier.

A good light hearted Wednesday show with good calls about Jackie Gleason, Henny Youngman and other old time funny guys. Then, Attorney Joe Stanley did his weekly call about the dangers from renting trucks and trailers. Donnie needs to work on his grammar and spelling on Facebook.

A Tuesday show without anyone in the studio, no one bitching on the phone and nobody called in to talk shit about nothing! That's what I call a fun show. Oh, Danny called to suggest there's nothing wrong with Russia buying our farmland. It's a world economy, nothing to see here! Ok, fine Danny, everything is going to be great!

Glenn had Susan Duffy in the studio today to talk about 'Round 2' to her race vs. Scott Gray for Assembly. Although Susan lost the primary in June, she explained why she is ready to do whatever it takes to continue her fight to win.

Comedian Costaki stopped in today to talk about his life and his (2) shows tonight here in Watertown. Glenn spoke with the Bob & Tom comedian for 30 minutes then took calls about the latest news and stuff in town and in America.

No interview Thursday show, so Glenn had an opportunity to talk more about Councilman Cliff Olney and Mayor Jeff Smith. Good stuff, great calls and Danny Francis! Then, Jim Leven stopped by so Glenn asked Jim about the 'State' of the Democratic party and why liberals smile more without Trump as their president.

Back to Watertown politics! Glenn covered the bases with the latest Mayor Jeff Smith vs. Councilman Cliff Olney. Good stuff! Plus, Attorney Joe Stanley called in to talk about the Texas police officers.

Candidate for US Senate Joe Pinion called in today. His 17 minute discussion outlines his pledge to a safer better New York State. Then it was local issues from City Hall. The discussion was so intense, Mayor Jeff Smith called at the end of the show to provide his side of the story from Monday night's contentious council meeting at City Hall

Who wants Comedy this Friday night at the Bad Apple Saloon? We all do! That's why Glenn had comedian Costaki on the show today, to talk up about his (2) comedy shows! Costaki talked about the 'state' of comedy and why he shies away from politics in his act. Jason called about something, I can't remember and Samantha rounded off the show with her own 'babble'.

There's a difference between Fox news and CBS news reports on radio. That's clear when it comes to inner city crime stories. Glenn covered this and many other topics today including 'flag pole gate' in Watertown with Jason and Amy Horton stopped by too when Frank called up about our damaged city streets.

Are we over medicated and is it affecting our children? Glenn shared a story about the alarming increase in autism cases in America. That's when a caller chimed in about his 6 year old son with autism. A good conversation from someone who knows autism up close. Glenn did a small tribute to the late James Caan and shared a story about the woman who created 'Friends' too. Apparently, her...

Who needs a producer, we're fine just observing the obvious! Tattooed nut cases will eventually reveal their true colors. We spoke with Attorney Joe Stanley about traffic scenarios, falling air conditioners AND will Big Pharma ever pay the price for over-medicating our youth to become killers. That and a very astute legal caller at the end of today's show.

Glenn got dried out from the sun this weekend, but still managed to talk about the 'fugly' dude in the Chicago shooting. This heinous incident lead to a discussion about Red Flag laws. Danny chimed in, as did 'Crazy Ray' and 'Gun-Nut'.

Sure, the Friday before July 4th should have been 'light-hearted' but not today. Glenn had his thoughts about America this Independence Day Weekend, and it's not pretty. Liz called to tell Glenn he hasn't changed a bit, the country did.

Spray or roll on? That's the burning question Glenn had today after looking for a can of deodorant. Have we lost? Has conservative America lost at sea? Glenn seems to think the 'Deck is Stacked' and we're drowning. Ms. Hutchinson's testimony came up again, proving that full-fledged lies still resonate with ignorant Americans. Jim Leven stopped in to talk about radio at the end....

The 'Day After' the primary, and quite honestly, nobody cared. So, it was a good Wednesday show about nothing! But, Danny chimed in to defend his call from yesterday and finally admitted he'd like to see Trump behind bars.

Finally, Primary Tuesday has arrived, and now Glenn has a coughing attack at the beginning to today's show. Oh well, bring on Danny Francis to talk about the compelling testimony from today's Jan. 6th hearing where former President Trump apparently commandeered his own limousine! Liz called too as well as Brian who had their own thoughts about today's testimony. Donnie called and descr...

Sheriff candidate, Pete Barnett came by to talk about his platform as 30 plus years of law enforcement today for the first half of our show. Then Glenn talked about other issues with 'Lefty' including optional birth control with monthly payments as a better option than abortion.

Big day means, a call from Congresswoman ClaudiaTenney. Ms. Tenney gave her reason why SCOTUS got it right today by overturning Roe vs. Wade. Good 20 minute discussion followed by an in-studio interview with Sheriff candidate, Perry Golden who reminds voters the primary is Tuesday, June 28th.

Just a 30 minute show today, due to the live Jan 6th hearings. Susan Duffy stopped by days before the BIG Primary election on Tuesday. Susan talked about why she's the conservative choice for the 116th and discussed why she wants to be Assemblywoman.

Politics continue as Glenn interviews Scott Gray, candidate for the 116th Assembly District. Scott says he's the right candidate for the Republican Party because he can start working on Day 1, because he knows the political landscape. Danny Francis chimed in as well as Lefty with their endorsement. Clayton Guy not so much.

Congresswoman Claudia Tenney called the studio today to talk about the top headlines in the news. Including, the Jan 6th hearings, the Biden policies that continue to destroy America and some light-hearted questions too. Plus, Glenn went on about the irony of having Rudy Guiliani in the studio a day before WATN aired the Jan 6th hearings. You CAN'T make this stuff up!

WOW! What a day at 199 Wealtha Ave. First Rudy Giuliani called in to Jeff's show to talk up his son Andrew. Then Glenn goes to his press conference downtown. Then Rudy does his WABC show live from the WATN studio, and then he calls Glenn's show at 5pm. Listen here as Glenn explains what the day was like, then Rudy talks with Glenn for the entire last 30 minutes. Good stuff!
