Haunted or Hoax

Jennifer is back on the East Coast! She made it cross country just to bring you this episode featuring a house full of screams in Union, Missouri. Very Amityville esque the story features the horrors a man and his three children had to go through in a rental home. Showers for butchers, deafening screams, rude neighbors! We're not sure if you can handle a story of an old house like this. Or if you...

Did our ghosting last week spook you? Sorry about that, but we are back and  living! More than we can say for some of the people at our location. This week we take on a big name in prisons, Alcatraz! We've got prisoners and pelicans wreaking havoc on this Island. Not to mention disappearing light houses and protests!  Definitely a juicy episode to welcome us back. Special shout out to cohost Jenni...

Ireland, we're coming for  you! This week we seek out spirits at Leap Castle one of Ireland's most haunted places. A lot of death has supposedly happened in gruesome ways at the castle! Which stories are true? Which are legend? With a sulfur smelling Elemental and a Lady in Red we have a LOT to talk about. We'd appreciate it if you took a moment to help our podcast by rating and reviewing on apple...

Back on the east coast in Delaware this week where we talk about the Rockwood Mansion and Museum. It was the OG Ghost Hunters series last episode, sporting the ghost of 100 year old Mary and a little boy named Eddie. Potentially intelligent spirits but maybe actually a big ol' wet cloud? History and Hauntings seemed to meld AND conflict in this episode! We'd appreciate it if you took a moment to h...

Episode 80! We've hit another milestone and what better way to celebrate than with a topsy twisty story of a hotel in Juneau, Alaska? The Alaskan Hotel is known for it's bar, it's one star reviews and...a haunted hot tub? With stories about a murdered woman, injured sailor, and black magic this place was certainly keeping us on our toes! Were we able to confirm anything? Let's just say it definite...

Episode 79 takes us to a castle in Rhode Island! Seaview Terrace has past filled with Dark Shadows. Footsteps, nosy bathroom guests, and an occasional whisper may be experienced in this 1800's/1900's mansion (depending on which part of the house you're in).   We'd appreciate it if you took a moment to help our podcast by rating and reviewing on apple and NOW on Spotify! Don't forget to check our s...

We are sadly back on opposite coasts but we're still bringing you a great episode! We've moved from Jennifer and the West to Kristen and the East. To Vermont, which IS a state! Who knew? Probably everyone except us. In the episode we discuss the ghost stories surrounding the Southern Vermont College Campus. Are there any truths behind it's rumors of a Lady in White and  dark cloaked shadows? Or ar...

Our wrap up on our western tour ends at the El Rancho Hotel in New Mexico! We are continuing our trek across the west, this time we stop in Arizona! The desert is full of secrets, scorpions, and spirits apparently. No exception is Yuma Territorial Prison AKA Hell Hole Prison. With a nickname like that how could we expect anything but horrific haunts and history? With the multiple spirits named John, pinching little girls, and a very scary Dark Cell this episode had plent...

California here we come...again! This time we are talking about the eerily gorgeous Preston Castle in the northern part of the state. Created to be a boys reform school it has a heartbreaking history. Which would make it no stranger to possible spirits who may still be lurking the halls. We talk about murder, demons, and the importance of respect in haunted places! Listen at the end to get the rev...

Oklahoma, Where the ghosts comes sweepin' down the plain! At least, this week they are. The Stone Lion Inn is rumored to be one of the most haunted places in Oklahoma. We've got some puzzling pictures, things moving and being knocked over, and a...body that was used as a prop? The Inn proved to be so much more interesting than we could ever have imagined and we can't wait for you to hear all about...

Jennifer survived the Oregon trail! Well, her own modern version anyway. Since she didn’t die from dysentery or from starvation we are proud to be back with another episode! This week we decided to touch on three islands with very curious lore and even more curious history! From too many bodies, to Cold War missile sites, to haunted dolls we are pretty sure we’ve covered all the bases with this on...

We are back after a week delay! A Spirit of a different nature delayed Jennifer last week. Not exactly supernatural but super annoying! This week though we are talking about a Tuberculosis Hospital heavily featured on Ghost Adventures. It has been a number of things actually! University, Hospital. Hotel, Reunion spot but the real question is...is it haunted? Listen to find out! A quick announcemen...

In the States again for another Haunted Hotel. This time it's in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Not to be confused with Las Vegas, Nevada (which we did don't worry). This hotel has a...little bit...a trickle of hauntings. Mostly brought to us by our favorite ghost host with the most! Even though the entities and legends aren't super complex, does that mean the history has an easier time backing it up? Als...

We're international this week! Taking a trip to Scotland to talk about the supposedly ultra haunted Edinburgh Vaults, or the South Bridge Vaults. After being re-discovered in the 90s these tunnels definitely draw a large ghost tour crowd. There is a creepy Watcher spirit, a child, along with...a former queen? There is also an interesting history about the opening bridge that may or may not have cu...

We are still in California this week. Too many killers and ghosts hanging around the West Coast to just leave without talking about Dorothea Puente and her infamous house of horrors. She was a sweet old looking lady with a sinister side. Now, there are rumors that her former home is haunted by not only victims, but Dorothea herself. Is it true? Or is the House Innocent? There are conflicting opini...

Back to the West Coast for a mysterious house that was the site of a murder suicide. Rumor has it the Doctor and his victim are still trapped inside, with all the other things untouched from the 60s. It is rather peculiar someone has bought, but hasn't lived, in the house since the crime isn't it? We certainly think so and have some theories!  We'd appreciate it if you took a moment to help our po...

Definitely an episode with twists a...

We're baaack! After a week off for traveling, we are dropping a much needed new episode for you! This one is a little different. We started out researching one ghostly starlet only to end up also talking about another! Jean Harlow and Paul Bern's home proved to only have vague rumblings of something haunted...but one of those rumblings came from Sharon Tate. Someone who is often talked about as al...

We are back at it this week in Texas with another haunted hospital! White Sanitarium has a long rumored history of ghosts and trapped spirits of former patients. We did find some interesting things on Newspapers this time!  But is it just local lore or is there something to the supposed phantom cigarette buds?  We'd appreciate it if you took a moment to help our podcast by rating and reviewing on...

We are on a witch kick here at HorH apparently! We are so obsessed with witchy women and towns that start with G we decided we HAVE to talk about the Ancient Ram Inn in Gloucestershire, UK! We'd appreciate...

Werewolves, witches, and bulls! Oh my! This weeks episode is all about Dogtown, Massachusetts. One of the oldest Ghost Towns in the United States! But are there really ghosts? There are certainly some interesting legens about witches and other cryptids. There are also some pretty interesting rock formations should you choose to hike. Just make sure you watch for crows...and arrows!  We'd appreciat...

It's another new episode! Episode 61 to be exact. This week we are talking about the Madison Dry Goods Store in North Carolina! It has murder, it has dark entities it has....it's own tv show? Well, it's a part of a new series called 28 Days Haunted and that is what caught our eye. The real question in this episode is were we duped? Or does this store really host spirits? Stick around for a very co...

Sixty episodes in and we are finally doing a classic ghost haunt! Stepp Cemetery is located in a Sate Forest in Indiana. It's got the classic story of a Lady in Black with a LOT of origins. We'd appreciate it if you took a moment to help our podcast by rati...
