Saturday 29/03 was Nyepi - the day of silence in Bali. I spent the day recording an epic DJ-mix (in headphones). This is part 1 - the warm-up section. I was really channelling a couple of my favourite DJs: Moodymann, Floating Points and DJ Food. They all like playing extended sets with downtempo warm-ups like this, including rnb, hiphop and reggae. I also threw in some classic rock, like Z-Trip. D...

Haha, I took it as unwarranted praise but it was awesome that someone could hear his influence on my style. The first hour or so is one of my first-ever house mixes "an evening with Doc Martin" - it's based on his set from 2001 in Sydney. At the time, I was new to House music and i didn't know who he...

On January 24th, I had the honour of joining Purple Disco Machine's Sydney show, as a supporting artist. I didn't record the set live - I was way too nervous to mess around with cables but I recorded this (from USB history) as soon as I got home. This is a close replica of the set I played. Now, I was not on the main stage and thus, I had different brief: I was instructed to play House to Tech Hou...
