Epizody

Sunshine 25.04.2023

Sunshine provides us with joy. Do we have constant joy in our relationship with God? (Philippians 4:4-7; 1 Timothy 2:5; Matthew 5:14-15)

A music stand used in an orchestra 24.04.2023

We are all part of the Body of Christ, of equal importance and necessity in His Kingdom. (1 Corinthians 12-26)

A stairway to heaven with angels ascending and descending 22.04.2023

Jacob a Hebrew Patriarch (the son of Isaac and grandson of Abraham) saw a vision of a ladder with angels ascending and descending, with a promise from God to bring his descendants to what is now referred to as the Promised Land. (Genesis 28:10-15). We are encouraged to believe that there are indeed angels in the spiritual realm who are here to minister to us. (Psalm 91:11-12; Matthew 18:10; Hebrew...

A yacht with sails moving across water 21.04.2023

As with the wind which we cannot see, so is God's Holy Spirit. We can see the wind's effects such as on a moving yacht and we can see the effects of the Holy Spirit on our lives. Jesus promised to send the Spirit when He left this earth. (John 14:15-18; Acts 1: 4-5)

Pencil markings being erased and revealing a red heart depicting God's Love for us 20.04.2023

God loves us but we sometimes miss His still small voice and the little love notes He is giving us. (1 Kings 19:12; Psalm 46:10)

Two knitting needles 19.04.2023

In the same sense that with one knitting needle we cannot make a knitted garment, similarly we need to work with God, which requires our trust in Him in the first place. (John 6:29)

A white rabbit fading into a white background and a black cat fading into a black background 18.04.2023

If we concentrate on Good then it will be easier to discern what is not good when it subtly appears, as it will be obviously out of place. ( Psalm 1:1-3; Philippians 4:4-9)

A small shoot with two green leaves and the promise of a beautiful plant emerging. 17.04.2023

Let us enter each day knowing that God has new promises to fulfil for us. Lamentations 3:22-24

A dandelion puff 15.04.2023

God wants us to be carefree (in contrast to being careless and irresponsible). We can cast all our anxieties upon Him because he cares for us (1 Peter 5:7)

A kitten having fun trying to unravel a ball of wool/yarn 14.04.2023

We are to enter into God's Kingdom like a child (Matthew 18:1-5; Luke 18:15-17; Mark 9:33-36)

A Tardis with a small exterior belying its huge interior 13.04.2023

God is far greater than our limited understanding and experience of Him. God is the great "I am" (Exodus 3:14) as Jesus said of Himself. (John 8:58)

A nail being hammered in to a piece of wood 12.04.2023

The author of Ecclesiastes is searching for the meaning of life. At the end (Chapter 12) he concludes "Remember your Creator ....The words of the wise are like goads, their collected sayings like firmly embedded nails - given by one shepherd ..."

Pieces of string of different and unknown lengths 11.04.2023

Who are we to judge others? In Matthew 7:4-5 Jesus says:  "How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?  You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye."

A unicellular organism morphing into a large serpent 10.04.2023

Often we make mountains out of mole hills with our worries and concerns. In Matthew 17:20 Jesus said “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

A shepherd with a staff and a rod 08.04.2023

Psalm 23:4 "Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me". The hooked staff pulls us from danger and leads us in right paths; the rod attacks our enemies and is a symbol of love as He counts all His sheep and knows us all individually.

A genie lamp 07.04.2023

A discussion on the difference between magic and God's miraculous supernatural power.

Look in a mirror at ourselves with God's perspective 06.04.2023

God loves us unconditionally. He has paid the price for our sins which we have made, are making and are still to make.

The mending of a hurt heart as depicted by a dove on the ground which rises to strength again 05.04.2023

I discuss our need to be as a gentle as a dove but wise as a serpent. God gives wisdom to anyone who asks (James 1:5) and looks after our vulnerable heart when we give without a self-serving agenda.

An abundance of treats, depicted in an imagery of Smarties, M&Ms and Liquorice Allsorts 04.04.2023

We can trust the Lord to keep His promises of abundant provision. John 10:10

A transformation of a turbulent sea echoed in a turbulent sky to a beautiful blue sea and sky. 03.04.2023

The way we approach our day, in our attitudes, thoughts and demeanour, can affect the outcomes of our day. May we remember Moses, his brother and 70 elders who saw God "and under his feet there appeared to be a pavement of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself." (Exodus 24:10)

An imprint of Jesus's head, with a crown of thorns, on every page in the Bible 01.04.2023

Jesus in the New Testament fulfills the Old Testament such as the thorns on his head which can be connected to the thorns that sprung up after Adam and Eve had sinned in the Garden of Eden. I give further examples.

Old discarded mattresses 31.03.2023

God can turn all our failures into good. 2 Corinthians 12:9 "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness".

A caterpillar wearing many pairs of shoes, emerging into a beautiful, peaceful butterfly 30.03.2023

Are we wearing too many shoes, wearing too many hats? Shall we listen to the Lord and slow down to do His will and thus be more fulfilled? Proverbs 3:5-6; Jeremiah 29:11

I saw fairground rides rushing into an imagery of a busy sprawling metropolis 29.03.2023

In John 14:27 Jesus promises us peace in the midst of any circumstances we are in. I explore a few verses as to what He really means by that.

An unlaunched rocket covered by cloud 28.03.2023

The Israelites were led from Egypt to the Promised Land by a pillar of cloud during the day and a pillar of fire by night. Numbers 9:22 "Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for 2 days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out". May we be led by the Lord even if we have to wait for the cloud to be lifted.
