Church Public

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: This year, in rapid succession, we have lost John MacArthur, James Dobson, Charlie Kirk and Voddie Baucham. We know they are all with Jesus, but for us on earth, this is a heavy blow.  Yet, I have seen more Jesus preached, services attended, and gospel proclaimed in person and online than I ever have in my entire life. And that is saying someth...

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: Meanwhile in the UK, a man gets off a plane just like every other time, except this time there are 5 armed law enforcement officers there to arrest him. Is this the guy who forged checks and pretended to be an airline pilot causing a world wide manhunt for this dastardly impersonator? No. Oh, is this the known person who has barely evaded captu...

These are the last words of Jesus while he was on this earth. It is often called the Great Commission because it is a believer's purpose in life. This is the work we are called to do. If you read this for the first time today, or at any time in the last 2000 years, what would you conclude? Are we to really do what Jesus says here? I hear a lot of people say they really like Jesus as a teacher...

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: Chip and Joanna Gaines, the Fixer Upper couple, famous for helping those that need their home remodeled, have long been an ideal Christian couple with great values, wonderful children, a farm, a market and on and on. Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: How should a Christian view Israel? Are Christians COMMANDED to support the Modern Nation State of Israel? Here are three questions that I think we should look at today: 1. What is the difference between Biblical Israel and Modern Israel? 2. What can we apply from Scripture to American foreign policy? 3. What is Dispensationalism? All this and...

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: We take a look from a Biblical perspective at illegal immigration since there are thousands of protests scheduled today across America and prominent Christians are saying things or even quoting Scripture that is plainly out of context or cherry picked to their advantage. The rioters are claiming that there should be 'No Kings' in Amer...

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: Welcome to June 2025. Pride is Cancelled. Yes, there are still degenerates in the streets doing gross things, but the temperature and frequency of the events are WAY down from previous years.  I would love to just declare, Pride is officially cancelled! All this and more today on Church Public . . --- At Church Public we create compelling conte...

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: In Seattle, Washington, a group of Christians put on an event with worship music, singing, dancing and speakers, all to raise awareness and stand against boys being let into girls locker rooms, sports teams and bathrooms. Violent leftists like Antifa protested the event and started literally attacking both the event goers and the police.  The S...

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: In the latest gender insanity, Christian Camp is threatened with shut down by the government if they don't allow boys in the girls bathroom. Yes, this is a real story and yes, this is why we MUST talk about these things. I often see the question, 'why do you care about LGBTQ$%^& so much, it doesn't affect you?' Well, it...

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: A or perhaps THE flagship Christian Magazine seems to question the truth of the Resurrection on Easter. This is a BIG problem. However, in good news, the NY Times has finally realized that some people live out their faith. You won't believe what symbol they noticed Christians wear. Hint it is in the shape of a cross... Also, the UK Supreme...

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: A giant Hindu statue that is 90 feet high now towers over a suburb of Houston, Texas. Why? Why did Christians think this was ok to allow? How do you feel about it now? Is this one big example of 'Religious Liberty?' Or is there more going on here from a theological perspective? Are we better together? Is diversity our strength? Do all...

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: Last yeat at Easter, the former President Biden encouraged Americans to celebrate trans day of visibility.  This year is slightly different with Worship in the White House! Singing songs and hymns and spiritual songs to JESUS in the very house of American power. This is in a bit of a contrast to the previous administration but you still have qu...

Yes, shorts.  What a wild world we live in.  All t...

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: First off, I wanted to thank those that said I was not being faithful to Jesus Christ by saying that our country is better off under Donald Trump than Biden. This just reminds me why I do what I do. I have no idea where these people are getting their information, but here is 30 seconds of why that is the most ridiculous claim. Under the Biden a...

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: Donald Trump becomes the 47th President of the United States on a cold and windy January day in the year of our Lord, 2025.
